Problem

Passenger's Airbag Inflator recall
A potential concern may exist with the passenger’s airbag inflator in your vehicle and a Product Safety Recall will be conducted.
In some vehicles, the passenger’s front airbag inflator could produce excessive internal pressure upon deployment in the event of an accident. If this happens, metal fragments could possibly shoot out, straight through the airbag cushion material towards the vehicle occupants causing serious injury or fatality.

Solution

The customer is requested to make an appointment with their nearest Honda Dealer to have this recall actioned. The Dealer will replace the passenger front airbag inflator free of charge.

Problem

CRV-HRV Mudflap Recall
The rear mug guards (mud flaps) on the vehicle do not meet the requirements of Australian Design Rule 42/04, General Safety Requirements.
The current rear mud guard (mud flap) does not fully cover the rear wheel to the required specification as listed in Australian Design Rule 42/04. The rear mud guard (mud flap) on the vehicle do not pose any safety concern for the customer.

Solution

The rear mud guards (mud flaps) will be replaced, free of charge.
